what is fimo???

Fimo is a name for a brand of polymer clay made by German company Staedtler (STAEDTLER Mars GmbH & Co. KG). Fimo is sold worldwide. Its main U.S. competitor is the American brand Sculpey. The material comes in many different colors; there are many finishes to choose from, and even a softener to use with it because it can be hard to work. It is used for making many things, including jewellery, accessories, and small trinkets. Once shaped, Fimo is baked in a standard or toaster oven for about 30 minutes at 110°C (230°F) to harden it. Once baked, it can be cut, drilled, painted, sanded, and sliced thinly. According to information from Staedtler, Fimo contains polyvinyl chloride (PVC), but has not contained any phthalates since 2006.

FIMO was first a plastic modelling compound brought to the attention of German dollmaker Kathe Kruse in the late 1930s as a possible replacement for plastic compounds that were scarce from war privation. It was not suitable for her doll factory use, and she turned it over to her daughter Sophie Rehbinder-Kruse,^[1] who was known in the family as "Fifi." FIfi's MOdeling Compound was later sold to Eberhard Faber and is marketed under the name "FIMO." (source: wikipedia)

saye mula berkenalan ngan fimo mase saye tengah melayan youtube (again...) hehehehe since sekarg ni saye mempunyai banyak mase yg terluang, so saye pon rajin2 kan la diri melangut depan komputer yang gedabak ni untuk membanyak kan ilmu...so mase tengah duk membelek2 intenet make saye pon terserempak la ngan fimo cane.....hmmmmm menarik tertarik....saye memang pantang tengok bende art yg boleh DIY ni...x tau kenape...tp saye suke kan craft...stakat ni yg saye dah cube ialah knitting, crochet, sewing n eraser carving...sume nye pon saye blaja melalui uncle google...xde pegi kelas2 formal....

ok back to fimo.....fimo ni ekceli macam plastisin...saye paling suke tang menguli plastisin ni untuk dijadikan cane yg cantik2 n cumel2 itu...so bile kite dah ade cane yg cumel tu banyak2, kite boleh la buat macam2...contoh nye keychain ke, handphone strap ke, accessories ke....macam2 la....sekarang ni yang tengah femes pasal fimo canes ni ialah nail art...ok...yg tu memang saye x minat...saye x minat pasal nail art...bagi saye kuku saye dah cantik dah...hahahahahaha....tp yg x best nye kat negaraku ni x de jual fimo...yg ade cume clay biase je...kenape la bile saye dah suke bende alah tu plak x available kat negaraku...huhuhu...

kalo korang nak tau lagi pasal fimo @ fimo canes ni, feel free to ask uncle google ye....jangan malu n jangan segan...kat youtube pon ade tutorial on how to make the canes....
